Cheviot Area High School Bathroom Renovations  

This Ministry of Education project involved a comprehensive refurbishment of two bathroom blocks and an assisted learning classroom. Work was carried out during term time, completed on schedule and within budget. Effective sequencing and coordination of sub-trades were essential to meet the strict Ministry standards. 

Key aspects included repairs to earthquake-damaged foundations, new and remedial timber framing, retrofitted insulation, and damp-proofing. The upgrades featured new flooring, windows and door joinery, fresh cladding, service improvements, and redesigned bathroom layouts and fixtures. 

Throughout the project, all health, safety, construction, and administrative protocols set by both the Ministry and the school were rigorously followed. 

The final result was finished to high-standard,  fully upgraded and future-proofed, freshly decorated school facility.
